Living life in Portland since covid, by way of the Bay (area), and raised in the suburbs of LA. Previously, I designed at Sleeper fantasy sports, Mercury business banking, and Elephant product design agency (Apple embed team).
I love designing for the start-up space and building products 0-1 with a lean team. Understanding and navigating the ambiguity of a problem space excites me, and I believe good design starts with asking the big questions upfront and continuing those conversations to the finish line.
Why are things the way they are?
How did we get here?
What does better look like?
How does this make people feel – you feel?
Who is this serving?
What is really going on here?
Is this valuable? Necessary? Expansive?
As the digital landscape gets noisier and people identify more with their virtual personas, I want to tackle interesting problems and build simple, elegant, and most importantly, non-distracting solutions. We become what we behold, so designing thoughtful interfaces, flexible tooling, and enriching experiences that expand our lives is even more crucial today.
When I’m not ferociously using shortcuts in Figma, writing specs in Notion, or prototyping in Principle, I like to read (current: On Photography by Susan Sontag), watch films (last watched: A Ghost Story), and go on hikes.
This summer, I’ve been obsessed with making sun prints.
